Jack's team is great. However, I expected the same from Jack. Looks like his fiduciary duty is not for the client but for the money. He missed key items in the contract, and when I reminded after signing the contrast, he would exploit it as leverage to charge much more.
Jack would not come to inspect work after his team completed it. He relies on end-client to report  errors or omissions. If the client missed it too, the mistakes and omissions will be buried into the walls when the walls are finished. Missed simple things like nail stop plates at places, lose hanging wire, disposing off manuals, warranties of  exhaust fans etc.

Jack answered the phone every time I called, had two electricians (Jose & Jose) on site within a few hours of my request, and alleviated my anxiety about some failed receptacles same day.  The Joses looked at everything I requested, made thoughtful recommendations, were respectful of our space and finished earlier than estimated. I replaced six hard wired smoke alarms and needed the old ones disconnected. Avenue Electric responded promptly and did the work efficiently. They request partial payment before commencing a project which was different from other residential service providers, but the result justified the up front partial payment.
